Code of Conduct

Last updated: 17 August 2026

1. Purpose

WilBrown.com is committed to providing a friendly, respectful, safe and welcoming environment for everyone who participates in our courses, community spaces and related activities.

We welcome people regardless of gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, age, ethnicity, nationality, religion, experience level, preferred operating system, programming language, text editor or other personal characteristic.

This Code of Conduct explains the behaviour we expect from participants and how we handle unacceptable behaviour.

2. Expected Behaviour

We expect participants to:

  • treat other people with respect and consideration;
  • communicate constructively, even when disagreeing;
  • be welcoming towards people with different backgrounds, experience levels and perspectives;
  • respect other members’ privacy and confidentiality;
  • give feedback in a constructive and professional manner;
  • avoid deliberately disruptive or inflammatory behaviour;
  • follow reasonable requests from WilBrown.com moderators or administrators; and
  • contribute to an environment in which people feel comfortable asking questions, learning and participating.

3. Unacceptable Behaviour

Unacceptable behaviour includes, but is not limited to:

  • intimidation, harassment, abuse or threats;
  • discriminatory, derogatory or demeaning conduct;
  • offensive comments relating to characteristics such as gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability or age;
  • unwelcome sexual attention or conduct;
  • inappropriate sexual imagery or material;
  • deliberate intimidation, stalking or following;
  • repeated personal attacks;
  • sharing another person’s private or confidential information without permission;
  • deliberately disrupting discussions or community activities;
  • spam, repeated unsolicited promotion or other misuse of community spaces;
  • impersonating another person;
  • encouraging unlawful or harmful activity; and
  • behaviour that materially interferes with another participant’s ability to take part safely and constructively.

Disagreement, criticism and robust discussion are not inherently unacceptable. The way participants communicate those views matters.

4. Consequences of Unacceptable Behaviour

Unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated.

Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behaviour is expected to comply promptly.

Depending on the nature and seriousness of the behaviour, WilBrown.com may take reasonable action including:

  • providing a warning;
  • removing or editing content;
  • restricting participation in a discussion or community space;
  • temporarily suspending an account;
  • permanently removing community access; or
  • terminating an account where appropriate.

Serious behaviour may result in immediate action without a prior warning.

Where a participant has purchased a paid course or other service, any effect on paid access, refunds or other entitlements will be handled in accordance with the applicable Paid Course Terms and Conditions, other relevant agreements and applicable law.

5. Reporting a Concern

If you experience or witness behaviour that may breach this Code of Conduct, please contact:

hello@wilbrown.com

Please include enough information for us to understand what happened and, where possible, identify the relevant discussion, account or event.

We will handle reports as discreetly and confidentially as reasonably possible.

We may need to speak with relevant people or disclose limited information where reasonably necessary to investigate or respond to a report.
